With summer on its way, more and more people will be fixing their house up ready to sell, decorating new extensions and generally attempting some home improvements.

1. Painting and decorating
If you’re decorating a room in your house, remember to protect any furniture and flooring before you start. If you’re doing your home up to sell, stick to neutral colours.
2. Garden maintenance
Gardening in winter isn’t a particularly pleasant task, even to the most seasoned gardener. Now summer’s on its way, tidying up the garden is far more appealing.
